We’re gathering MP3s to prepare for coverage of the annual SXSW music festival. If you’re an artist playing SXSW 2013, here’s some information on how to make sure we hear one of your songs beforehand.

Can’t wait!

More therapy fun. Today it felt good to see her happy while she was doing her thing… Not too worried about her paci, which was an improvement. And overall more responsive – and that’s with a seizure yesterday. There are these moments I realize we have come a long way but we are measuring every little step as progress. We don’t realize how turning pages in a book or holding a ball in front of us requires an entire orchestra of muscles and brain power to achieve. And I watch as Reese is learning sometimes for the first and others it is déjà vu. But I enjoy every moment seeing her push through each challenge they give her. She is a true little heroine.

Highs and lows today. Reese started off so well with therapy. She hit all her targets. Bringing her hands to the middle and clapping two toys together. Sitting on her knees and working with things on the bench like toys or picking up her yogurt bites.

The lows come when I realize she knew how to do this before. And worse, when she wakes up from her post-seizure nap (like today) she can’t even do what she was excelling at hours before. At least not until her precious little mind shakes free of the fog.

Highs and lows.

Hold the mushrooms

Bryan: I think they will share a burger
Davis: I don’t like that kind.
Bryan: No I said two people will buy one burger and split it.
Davis: ohhh I thought you said Shanky burger.
Me: what is that?!
Davis: it has lots and lots of mushrooms!!! And I don’t like mushrooms.

Beware the Shanky Burger
