Kind of a right of passage weekend here — first Reese wears two piece pajamas without feet. Seems like a small thing but apparently they don’t like making footie pjs for over 9 mo. Trust me, I looked all over and didn’t like the few I found. So she gets to let the chubs hang out when she sleeps.

And then I go to Target and officially crossed the aisle to the big kid section, where apparently boys only wear ugly cartoon faces on clothes or pajamas. I’m the one who has to look at the stupid shirts, why can’t they be less obnoxious fake laughs and more real humor. You know, like say…”if it weren’t for my mom, you could smell this shirt before you even saw me.” See THAT is funny!

EEG today to see if new meds produce a different picture of her brain’s activity. She didn’t cry this time. So brave and strong. I am so proud to be her mommy. The special head wrap makes her face look so round. Her cheeks were meant to be plump. She gained half a pound this past week. Now we just hope she can keep it on.

Sweet girl getting some fullness back in those cheeks. She’s just over a year old and with her water cup as motivation, she crawled up an incline mat while we wait.

She doesn’t know she is about to get another intrusion of her space — EEGs are over-stimulating in just the prep work, then there are the flickering lights.
