And in more good news… Reese turned 16 months today. Weighing in at 21.5 pounds she is on the small side despite huge oreo-hiding chipmunk cheeks. She has been happy this week, note the eye contact — usual baby stuff like teething and fighting nap time. She started making sounds again Monday so we take that to mean similar to in March, the steroids are doing their job. And it means this mommy squeals with delight at every single sound. We are six weeks seizure free and should be safe for the duration of these lovely steroids. Most likely to September, maybe beyond.

We haven’t planned a true summer vacation partially because we took a fun trip to Sea World already and partly because we are heading to Chicago for a consultation with an infant nierology specialist. AND we still await test results taken from the hospital back on May 4.
